Dr. Priya Bhagat

Dentist

Dr. Priya Bhagat graduated with a dental degree from the prestigious Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in Punjab, India in 2005. After successfully meeting Canadian professional requirement (NDEB) she began practising dentistry in Canada over 3 years ago. Raised in a family of health care professionals, she learned from an early age the importance of compassion and empathy when treating patients. 


She is very enthusiastic and skilled in what she does, and enjoys performing virtually all facets of general dentistry. She is in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association. Dr. Bhagat is an avid learner and keeps herself up to date with continuing education courses.


When not doing dentistry, Dr.Bhagat enjoys reading, cooking and spending time in nature with her husband, son and daughter.

Dr. Dana Coman

Dentist

Dr. Coman graduated from the University of Toronto in 2001. She is originally from Romania, and she received her DMD degree from the University of Timişoara in 1991. She is a member of the Ontario Dental Association.


In her spare time, Dana enjoys reading, cooking, travelling and, most of all, spending time with her family and their dog.

Teresa Rogowski

Receptionist

Teresa moved to Guelph in 1986 and is originally from Poland. She joined our practice in 1993. Teresa enjoys her receptionist position and interacting with our patients. She always tries her best to accommodate them.


Her family is extremely important to her, as well as the family pets. She loves to travel, Cuba being her favourite destination.

Cheryl Clarke

Receptionist

Cheryl graduated from a dental assistant program in 1981. She worked as a dental assistant for 21 years in Guelph, Kitchener and Orillia. For the last 10 years, she has worked as a dental receptionist. Cheryl joined our practice in 2017. 


She is married, and has three sons and three grandchildren. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys boxing, yoga and long walks with her sweet Yorkie and son’s two puppies.

Karen Hammel

Dental Hygienist

Karen graduated from Canadore College in North Bay in 1981 as a dental hygienist. She moved to Guelph in 1984 and she worked in general practice, orthodontics and paediatric dentistry settings. Karen joined our practice in 1995.


In her spare time, she enjoys boating, watching curling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Amy Gonyou

Dental Assistant

Amy graduated from a Level 2 dental assistant program at Niagara College in 2003. She joined our dental practice in 2015, after moving from her hometown of Welland to Guelph with her boyfriend and their dog. Amy recently welcomed her second child.


On weekends, Amy enjoys teaching yoga or competing in half-marathons or triathlons.

Bethany Bucher

Dental Assistant

Bethany graduated as a level 2 dental assistant from Cambrian College in 2003. After taking a short break from assisting, she joined the team in February 2021. Bethany is very proud of her strong family dental background, as both her father and grandfather were practising dentists in Guelph.


She loves spending time with her family, being at the cottage, and dabbles in a little beer brewing with her sister.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are the hours of operation?

    Our Guelph office is open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our break period is from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, and on Fridays, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Friday appointments are used as an overflow when needed.

  • What happens in the event of an emergency?

    During regular office hours, emergencies can be accommodated the same day. After the initial visit, further appointments will be scheduled to your convenience. If you absolutely must contact the dentist, an after hours phone number can be found on the office answering system.

  • Do I need an appointment?

    Yes, you will need an appointment to see the dentist. Even in the event of an emergency, please call ahead.

  • What is your financial policy?

    Payment is expected at the time of service, including deductibles and co-payment if any. We accept Interac, Visa, MasterCard, cheque or cash as forms of payment.

  • What is the policy regarding insurance plans?

    We accept assignment for most insurance plans, provided that electronic transmission is available for your plan.


  • Are any payment plans available?

    For certain procedures, a payment plan may be available. Just ask!

  • What if I have other questions?
